We have been in need of a 3D printer for a while now, in order to print parts designed by community members and also prototype new parts. After talking about it for ages we finally got around to buying an Ultimaker. For now we have mostly been playing around (printing various things found online) but our plan is also to make some models that users can print themselves. Let’s see if we run out of plastic before we get that far :-)
Below are some parts we printed. The Crazyradio cover designed by foosel and the frame designed by VGer.

Where can I buy this Frame?
The designer is selling them on E-bay (http://paulogeraldes.blogspot.se/2013/05/crazyflie-frame-prep.html) so you might be able to find them there.
Sad — :'( I am ignored.
I have a printable full Crazyflie cage. You can bang your copter around and under things with my design.
See: Crazyflie Flying Bumper Cage on Thingiverse.com since May 18, 2013.
Nice! Aside from plastic filaments, have you also tried experimenting with other types of 3D printing materials like this http://www.3d2print.net/shop/product/taulman-645-nylon? I’m also thinking of printing prototype car parts, but I think PLA is too brittle for this. Any suggestions?
